Carrelets, emblems of the Gironde estuary.
The carrelet has been part of the Gironde landscape for many, many years. It gives the estuary quite a look, and its regulars are quite proud of it!
The Malescasse Chateau is located in the heart of the Médoc appellation on the wine route between the village of Margaux and the village of Saint Julien.
The building is a magnificent « Chartreuse » entirely restored to offer a welcome worthy of the châteaux grand crus classés next to the property. That could be an interesting stop on exploration of the Bordeaux vineyard.
Malescasse produces a red wine in Cru Bourgeois that is powerful, elegant and silky.
Wine Cab invites you to visit this estate on the occasion of a wine tour in Médoc. Here you can admire the huge wooden and stainless steel tanks but above all you can participate in a very interesting workshop like the winemaker: you will create your own wine by blending the 3 Médoc grape varieties. After this workshop, you can have lunch on the grass in the Château garden, savouring local specialities and tasting a red, rosé or white wine.
Before leaving, your English taxi will take you to the nearby Gironde, the estuary formed by 2 rivers, the Garonne and the Dordogne, where you will admire a magnificent landscape and taste a glass of white wine to appreciate this magical place!
It will then be time to leave to find the wine route and extend your wine tour through the vineyards of the Bordeaux region to discover a new château.
Once again a unique place that capture the soul of the Médoc wine routes, a really nice place where you can enjoy “La Vie de Château” at 45 min from the city center of Bordeaux
