Wine Cab offers a unique wine tour on a full day with the crossing of the Garonne in English taxi.

From Bordeaux you will reach the Médoc on the famous « wine route » for a first visit of a castle selected for the quality of its wine and the quality of its reception.

You will enjoy the friendly spirit of wine cab but mostly when you cross the estuary of the Gironde (formed by 2 rivers the Garonne and the Dordogne) a great moment!

You will board the ship with your wine cab for a crossing of 20 mn to the other bank.

You will admire the lush vegetation of the islands that you will encounter as well as the immense expanse of water formed by the encounter of the Dordogne and the Gironde but the most impressive is the vision of the citadel of Blaye, a majestic fortress built by the most famous French architect: Vauban.

Arrived on the other bank, you will take a road that seems to make its way between the river and the cliff where charming troglodyte houses, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation., Magic!

On this road three appellations of wine are mixed: Blaye, Côtes de Blaye, Cotes de Bourg. Here the Merlot is the King grape.

The red wines are colorful and strong, scented, always supple, the white wines with an intense and powerful nose, are distinguished by their finesse and their persistence in the mouth.
