Visit of Saint-Émilion : at the heart of heritage and tradition

It is to the east of Bordeaux, in the green and hilly Dordogne valley, that Wine Cab takes you. Get ready both to discover a splendid vineyard and to immerse yourself in the heart of a rich heritage when visiting Saint-Émilion. Hillsides, an ocean of vines punctuated with white stones, magnificent castles, a picturesque village… we only tell you that. To appreciate, the best is to go there!

The program of this excursion promises to be very varied :

  • A Grand Cru Classé opens its doors to you. Its oenologist, in charge of the visit, tells you the secrets of a unique wine and invites you to taste it.
  • The medieval village of Saint-Émilion, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, is unveiled. By English taxi, and especially on foot, take the time to stroll through its narrow streets steeped in history and admire its monuments, ramparts and cobbled squares. The largest monolithic church in Europe, the Tour du Roy, the Cordeliers cloister or even the washhouses and half-timbered houses will enchant you. Perhaps you will also fall for the famous Saint-Émilion macaron with sweet and bitter almonds?
